The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey you must see it in 48 frames per second
I just got back from watching The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey in the High Frame Rate version which is 48P (48 Frames Per Second).
And I have to say that I have never seen such great animation since James Cameron’s Avatar ! I could not believe the depth that was displayed. Everything in The Hobbit looked real! Gollum was beyond amazing, even his hair looked so real. I felt like I was watching a movie at the IMAX the quality was that great… I haven’t seen anything like this before! Everything just seemed real, The Hobbit did not feel like it was filmed. Every scene made you feel like you were there with them, as if you were part of the movie; nothing looked fake.
Should you see The Hobbit in regular 3D or 48 FPS 3D?
I recommend that everyone check out the high frame rate (48 frames per second) version of the Hobbit! This might be the only time you get to see a 48P movie so just do it!
I would like to end that I did not have any signs of migraines, or any headaches while watching The Hobbit or even after. If you really want to enjoy The Hobbit like Peter Jackson envisioned the movie then you must watch it in 48 Frames Per Second.
I would also like to mention that The Hobbit displayed that the sound was in DTS 7.1 Channel Surround.
